Small Groups
Small groups are groups of people from our church gathering weekly in homes across our community to study God’s word. It provides a relaxed environment where you pursue authentic community, grow spiritually, and experience seasons of life together.

50+ Adults
We exist to provide fellowship, support and opportunities for older adults to grow in their faith and to mentor younger generations. We also give back to our local community and our church through service projects. And of course we never miss an opportunity to support local restaurants and local home cooks. “Let’s say grace!”
Young Couples
Ages 20’s-49, Our goal is to launch a Younger Couples Ministry that includes several small groups, along with parenting and marriage resources.
The purpose of this ministry is to enable friendships, support, and provide
experienced coaching during these crucial years of family formation, sustainability and success.
EQUIP
EQUIP! is the training arm of HMCC. The goal is to train members to fulfill the purpose of the church, which is to take on Christ’s character and do Christ’s mission (make disciples). On Wednesday nights there are at least two EQUIP! sessions (spring and fall). 2024 is about being Christ’s witness. This involves two ways: 1) personal evangelism training 2) responding to real life challenges. The Real Life Challenges (RLC) are “hot potato” or “WOK” issues in the American society that hold people captive. The RLC provides bible teaching to engage friends and family with biblical truth that addresses 21st century Satanic Strongholds in America today. The goal is to EQUIP! the members of HMCC to be Christ’s instrument to share this good news and set people free!
Real Life Challenges
R.L.C. groups, also considered group coaching, is an opportunity to meet with a group of people to discuss a specific challenge topic with a biblical world view. This “challenge topic” might be a cultural war issue (Homosexuality, Gender Transformation, Living Together, Gambling, Etc). The “challenge topic” might also be subjects such as marriage, family, parenting, stewardship, priorities, etc. There would be “challenge questions and scriptures”. A suggested biblical statement is revealed at the end to reflect on and apply to daily living.
