September 29: SOARING ABOVE ANGER
We live in an angry society. Some reasons for anger; when life doesn’t go our way, or we disagree with people’s decisions, or our plans are blocked by life or people. James states that human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. How do I overcome my anger? James shows us how in 1:19-21!

October 6: SOARING ABOVE DECEPTION
Deception is Satan’s strategy. He is called the DECEIVER! James states we are deceived when we listen to God’s word but don’t do what it says! James lays out a plan to SOAR ABOVE DECEPTION. It involves study, learning, and living God’s word that will set us free from Satan’s traps and allow us to experience God’s blessings in what we do!
